After nine years in London’s hedge fund world, Arlette Lee took a six-month sabbatical that led straight to the Andes. Inspired by local Peruvian artisans, she launched her eponymous eco-fashion brand designing luxury, fair-trade baby alpaca capes and Ruana shawls.
“I went with no expectations at all, other than to leave that robotic lifestyle… But when I realized I could have an edge working entirely with baby alpaca, the drive just came back.”
